In January, the price of a Silver listing appearing on LoopNet.com (formerly called a Premium listing) increased to $37 per month. Recent investments made by LoopNet are behind the industrywide price hike, which for Transwestern will be implemented incrementally over the next several years until we reach the current market rate of $53 per month.
The good news is that LoopNet has spent significant capital rebuilding its website as well as improving search engine optimization (SEO), resulting in a six-fold traffic increase since CoStar acquired LoopNet in 2011.
