Several regions organized support to help local children start the school year with all the necessities, and maybe a few fun extras. The Bethesda office’s back-to-school collection drive helped The Tree House Child Advocacy Center of Montgomery County to supply students with backpacks and other supplies to succeed in school.
In Chicago, 200 West Madison is collecting new and gently used books, art and school supplies with a lobby donation box. Later this month, the materials will go to Cradles to Crayons, a nonprofit that provides essential items to children living in low-income or homeless environments.
And in July, the East Bay office donated four boxes of paper and card stock to Merriewood Children’s Center, a preschool that also provides before- and after-school care for Burton Valley Elementary and hosts a summer camp for local students.
