Investors looking for value-add opportunities are scooping up multifamily properties nationally and Transwestern’s Mid-Atlantic Multifamily Group is at the forefront of this trend. Recently, the team of Dean Sigmon, Robin Williams, Justin Shay and Michael D’Amelio arranged the sale of Watergate Pointe, a waterfront apartment community encompassing 608 units and 160 fixed docks at 655 Americana Drive in Annapolis, Maryland. The team also recently sold Milford Station Apartments, a 200-unit property in Pikesville, Maryland. Real estate investment firm Blue Ocean sold the garden-style asset to GELFUND Real Estate Opportunities, a residential private equity fund, for $30 million.
