Next steps in the move to OneDrive

Transwestern has chosen Microsoft OneDrive as its firmwide cloud storage solution and is migrating teams from Dropbox to OneDrive over the coming months. Much like Dropbox, OneDrive is a Microsoft cloud service that stores and protects your files. You can connect to your content from anywhere – on all your devices – and sharing with others is easy.  Why the change? OneDrive offers:

• Improved integration with Microsoft Outlook – save files from email directly to OneDrive; attach files as a link or copy directly from OneDrive 
• The ability to access OneDrive folders directly from Microsoft Teams
• Easy access to files from File Explorer or the OneDrive desktop app
• AutoSave capabilities – save your work in Microsoft Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint to OneDrive automatically to prevent losing changes
• Document co-editing — multiple team members can access and edit a file simultaneously
• Improved security features that meet our clients’ increasingly stringent requirements
• A mobile app for accessing your files from an Apple or Android device
