All team members have been sent a Workday task with instructions for midyear check-ins, which should be completed by July 31. Scheduled by your manager, a check-in is an informal, honest conversation about the 2020 goals set for each team member at the beginning of the year.
Managers and team members are encouraged to:
- Discuss overall accomplishments during the pre-pandemic and current pandemic timeframes.
- Review initial 2020 goals and year-to-date progress, identifying which goals, if any, are no longer relevant or of a lower priority.
- Discuss additional objectives that have surfaced and should be included as new goals for the remainder of the year.
- Consider what support or resources you may need for the remainder of the year.
- Agree on any changes in job duties that could potentially affect goal achievement during the second half of the year.
- Document all changes to goals in Workday. Changes will appear on your full-year performance assessment and will aid in the completion of your annual self-appraisal in January.
