National MarketingApproximately 50 TW volunteers in Chicago spent a busy day working at the Greater Chicago Food Depository on Aug. 2. The group packed 21,625 pounds of cabbage and 1,640 pounds of potatoes, or an average of 298 meals per TW volunteer, for a total of 19,387 meals for food-challenged residents of Cook County. Thanks to Beth Swanick of the corporate Human Resources team for organizing this annual event.
In Chicago, Transwestern is a sponsor of the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association’s Summer Bash. NSSRA serves children, teens and adults with physical, developmental, emotional or other disabilities. The annual event celebrates the organization’s summer programs.
