BOMA International awarded 500 West Madison in Chicago the International TOBY Award, or The Outstanding Building of the Year, for buildings larger than 1 million square feet. The KBS-owned property is LEED Gold certified and tenanted by more than 90 companies and 6,000 people. Its two-story concourse and entrance to the Ogilvie Transportation Center bring more than 120,000 people through the building each day. BOMA officials presented the award during the organization’s 2019 Every Building Conference & Expo in Salt Lake City. Congratulations to our 19 dedicated team members who work at this one-of-a-kind property.
Congratulations also to the property management team at 203 North LaSalle, a Sumitomo-owned office building in Chicago that made it through regional TOBYs to compete for an international BOMA award in the Building Renovation category.
