A Friend Indeed

Sometimes all it takes to make a difference is to connect the dots between available resources and those in need. The team at  Domain Gateway in Austin had a significant inventory of unused carpet and other building materials, kept on hand for replacements and repairs, that became unnecessary when Indeed.com leased the entire building and eliminated common areas. The Asset Services team offered the surplus to the tenant and Indeed in turn donated the materials on Transwestern’s behalf to the Salvation Army. The nonprofit put the items to good use and has now recognized Transwestern for the contribution on a plaque at its new Rathgeber Center, a 212-bed shelter and safe haven for families in the greater Austin area.
